C'mon...764 NEW Covid Cases...Really?
Updated figures this morning from the Disease Outbreak Control Division (State of Hawaii) outline the rising cases of Covid19 on each island. Disturbingly, these number reflect an alarming rise despite health department campaigns to "slow the spread" by vaccination, hand-washing, social distancing, and a generous dose of common sense. Maybe it's the common sense element that seems to elude portions of our community. Or the fact that some folks in the community feel that they don't have to do anything at all about this, simply because they don't agree/believe in the science, government, fill-in-the-blank. What's pretty phenomenal about these current statistics is that cases are escalating at a significant rate and yet, so many people continue to doubt and reject the undeniable evidence that Covid is not going away anytime soon.
